YOUTHS DISCUSS VOCATION

Diocesan Youth Coordinator, Ambie James
Youths discussing group activities

BY KENNY ROMANUS

The Middle Fly Catholic Youths Convention is progressing well as it continues to its third day of its programmed activities.

The day began with a morning mess as usual then went into the days sessions.

Facilitator for the morning sessions and Diocesan Youth Coordinator, Mr. Ambie James discussed vocation with the youths. The youths gave Mr. James some very meaningful answers to the word “Vocation” under the Catholic doctrine.

Under the Catholic doctrine, vocation is a call from God to carryout his work and such calls are inner voices and are only heard and answered by our decisions.

Parish priest for St. Bertila Parish, Fr. Hubert Nekiri elaborated further on vocation and the challenges met along the way. He said, this calls are very special and it is carried out lifetime as a mission.

Fr. Hubert also shared his experiences that he faced and went through along the way to priesthood.

Meantime, the Youths will continue with ball games as their afternoon activities as part of their program and will end it with a night session.
